 Re: Yay!
good luck with your chicks, not a matter of hen or incubator, but what brand of incubator, LOL. Better start building pens, thats alot of troublemakers coming "on" at the same time, LOL. GL w/them

 Re: Yay!
I'd be willing to bet you its not gonna take you a few months to get busy..orientals without a mama = TROUBLE! You'd best get started on those pens right away...lol...I'll bet you have some beating each other up pretty bad around 3 to 4 weeks old....thats been my experience...I dont think I'll ever hatch orientals from a bator again...americans are bad enough...I got some morgan whitehackles I had to seperate the other day at around a month old..what a pain in the a_ _ ! ...They may be 5 weeks old...not sure...and I didnt hatch those in a bator but thanks to a coon killin their mother I'm raisin them...I've made up my mind next year I'm gonna have surragate hens everywhere....I'm gonna have so many hens runnin around that everytime I need some eggs set I'm sure to have a hen to set em! Cause frankly raising biddies without a mama is a royal pain in the a_ _ !!! I'll give you a week and you'll be saying I'm not doing this crap again! These babies need a mama to take care of em instead of me!! lol. .. ...Good luck my friend! You're going to need it!! lol...yfis, Buck Sellers
