 Lung worm?
Any one know the best way to get rid of them? I'm guessing Ivamec... But it cost alot just to treat one hen.....

 Re: Lung worm?
Are you sure its lung worm? If so Ivomec, Safeguard, Valbazen, Tramisol, Lavamasol. Should all work. Allways worm once than again in ten days or its all for naught. If you have poultry you need to have some basics on hand.Wormer is like feed. By that I mean its a nessesity unless you raise them on wire there whole life. If your trying to get off cheap go to your local feed store and by a bag of safeguard wormer pellets you can buy them by the lb. One pound treats 1000. lbs of animal. Or buy the horse wormer safeguard in a tube. There both around six bucks each. Give him about a 1/2 inch of the paste or however many pellets you feel will do for his weight. If I were using the pellets I would put them right down its throat just like a pill to make sure it gets them. Then in 10 days again. Good luck.
